This knife was hand made by a man named Randall. He made them only for men in the service. Collins Wyatt was able to buy this one for my brother James Boykin Tison. We did not know where he was only it was somewhere in the Pacific. He went over not in a group; but as specialist in code. He was breaking down Japanese code etc.
He was stationed at Iwojami Okinawa as well as Pearl Harbor Hawaii and when he got the knife and opened the package he said “it nearly scared him to death.” He did not serve in the combat. I think the knife was given by him back to Collins Wyatt. I don’t know why the scabbard is in this condition. I think Mr. Randall lived in Fl. Lauderdale Fla during W.W. II.

We are selling a vintage 1940’s Randall Knife. We believe that the knife was made by father Randall. The case is from H.H. Heiser I don’t know if it is original to the case. We do have a hand written family letter which has been transposed at the bottom. We have also included a newspaper article from the 70’s about Randall knifes talking about how he made them for the military.
