Item: 1959 American Thermos Lunch n Munch Lunchbox Thermos Outer Space Unused Red Mint

For sale is the 1959 American Thermos Lunch ‘n Bunch red vinyl lunchbox with outer space graphics and the matching thermos including both the stopper and cap/cup. We have listed the item as used because we are the seond owner but it is difficult to believe that either the lunchbox or thermos were ever used. We have not attempted to clean or polish any of these items. As shown in photos 4 and 5 neither the red plastic handle or brass latch show any evidence of wear or meaningful handling. Similarly the printing on the thermos stopper and cap/cup look unused. The vinyl is as close to pristine as we can imagine exists with no rips, tears, evidence of bleaching from exposure to the sun or rust/damage to the rivets The only blemish we were able to find is what we would describe as a small area of adhesive residue along the top of the thermos where the metal meets the top of the outer space graphics. This is best detected with your finger rather than visually and can’t be captured with our camera. We decided to let the new owner decide if they wanted to remove it.
