This week is the 2 year anniversary of rare and unopened 1966 Beatles “Yesterday and Today” record, that sold on Ebay about 2 years ago. The record sold on Ebay for $26,099. on January 12, 2010. The record was still originally factory sealed shrink wrapped, making it very rare and extremely desireable by record and Beatles collectors.
This specific record was recalled soon after its release due to the controversial image of all four artist with John, Paul, Ringo and George on the cover.
After its release, most of the records were recalled and not many of them made out into the public. The ones that managed to be released are mostly open and not sealed in the original factory shrink wrapped, which makes this particular record very desirable.
