1968 Vintage & Extremely Rare R9 GI JOE canvas lunchbox in very nice condition & issued by Hasbro. A very very Rare 9 Lunchbox & GI JOE collectible that you will not find listed in any guides & Extremely tough to find in any condition & IN FACT ONLY A FEW EXAMPLES OF THIS VERY RARE LUNCHBOX have ever surfaced !!!!!! Issued by Hasbro and still has the tag attached on the inside “Made in Japan” this lunchbox is very sought after by both GI JOE & Lunchbox collectors alike. In very nice condition with tarnish to the front latch area & measures 9″ x 5″ x 4″. There has been some confusion with collectors as to what this may be but it is definately a lunchbox & that has been confirmed as a example was found with original hang tag stateing ” GI JOE US ARMY LUNCH KIT” Hassenfield bros. Inc. with price tag sticker of 88 cents back in 1968. A must for the lunchbox or GI JOE collector that wants rare as it’ll be a long time till you see this vintage 44 yr old desired 60’s collectible again
