1969 Superbowl III Vintage Dome R10 Lunch Box. Rare lunch box handed out to the press for the 1969 game between the Jets and the Colts. This is the game where Joe Nameth “Guaranteed” a win when they were the major underdogs, they pulled off the upset! This is a Universal lunch box dome mold and is true to the 1969 “mod psychedelic” graphics.
This was Vernon Biever’s, photographer for the Green Bay Packers. He wrote 1969 on inside lid and under handle see photos. There is some staining on the inside paper lining. A bit of rust or some type of mark on hinges, a proper cleaning may remove but I will leave that for you, as I know little about lunch boxes.
Otherwise in good shape for its age.
