You’re bidding on a Close Encounters of the Third Kind Lunchbox with the matching Thermos. COMPLETE! The date on the bottom is 1977-1978. Both items are in nice condition. The lunchbox lid does have some wear marks on it but for a box and Thermos that’s 35 years old this is still in nice condition! Please look at all 12 pictures and I think you’ll agree! This was stored for many years in a closet inside my dad’s house so it was never on display and rarely handled. Every thing on this box is fully functional and in alignment. The handle is in great shape and the latch closes and holds nice and tight. The interior is in good shape but there are some rust spots inside on the bottom and in the corners. The Thermos is in great shape and has both the original screw on cup and the smaller interior screw on lid. This is a nice very displayable set that you’ll be proud to own! This comes from a smoke free home, has rarely been handled and has never been on display.
