Rare collectible vintage 60s Moon Explorer Toy by Bandai in good shape. Not 100% mint but very nice no major blemishes. Some rust on the track as shown in the last picture. Did my best to take pictures from all angles, will be happy to provide more detail or more pictures just ask.
The color is more similar to the very first picture than the others.
I did not want to handle the toy too much but the crank holding the Explorer airplane does work (I didn’t try to crank all the way up or down but it cranked enough to secure).
The crank on the back does move the tower as well. The tower tracks – one has some rust, one has just a little. Seems to function fine.
I put in D batteries nothing happened. Not sure if its inoperable or if there’s a special way to turn it on. Would be happy to try again if someone wants to message me and tell me how.
The red plastic ‘handle’ on the crank on the back of the vehicle split and came off, is included in the box.
You will note the long pole with the red rubber end on the deck of the vehicle. I’m not sure where that item is supposed to go.
Everything else is as pictured.
