This is a 1971 U.S. Navy HEO2 MKV. It is unquestioningly the most advanced diving helmet ever designed (todays plastic toys aside) It got its unique patina by spending 35 years sitting outside by the pool in south Florida home. I rescued it, wiped the dust off and haven’t touched anything on the helmet. You can see by the pictures that it is complete with all brails and the original USN speaker. All caps and nuts spin free and easy. The helmet separates from the breastplate easily and the faceplate is in prefect working order. All glass is in good condition and there are no cracks or chips. I guarantee that this is one of the most stunning helmets you will ever see and the fact that it is a gas hat made and used while the Navy still dove the heavy gear makes it that much more appealing. I will box and ship this item if you require it. I will forewarn you that I only ship in a well-designed and padded wooden box with insurance. I am sure some will think it overkill but those that have done this before will appreciate it. The helmet and breastplate ship in two boxes.
