Doctor Doom Exclusive Premium Format Figure Artist Proof The staff at Sideshow Collectibles believes that through the power of our collectors, we all can make a difference in the lives of so many! Thus, Sideshow has released some unique prototypes, paint variants and sought after exclusives from our archives, which will be featured in our ‘Collect for Life (TM)’ auctions. All proceeds from these unique auctions will go to local cancer causes and national children’s charities! This auction is for an awesome Marvel bad guy, an Artist Proof of the Doctor Doom Exclusive Premium Format Figure! Released in August of 2006, this statue was limited to a 1,000 piece, hand numbered edition as well as a small number of Artists Proofs. Artist Proofs were reserved for the movie studio executives, the filmmakers and Sideshow owners/partners. The item sold through very quickly due to overwhelming Marvel collector interest. This polystone statue features Dr. Doom seated on his highly detailed and ornate throne, cloaked in his green cloth cape. The exclusive accessory pedestal and chalice are included along with the original color box, standardized packing materials and original shipper box. The color box has small creases and some minor scuffs and wear from our product team’s inspection process. The original factory seals (tape) were broken and some of the packing tissue paper wasaffected during the inspection process as well. This Artist Proof of the Doctor Doom Exclusive Premium Format Figure will be sent to you in the ‘as is’ condition described by the text and as seen with all the details and any imperfections displayed in the photos provided. Some times these small imperfections caused by the hand casted and hand painted nature of the item is part of the charm of owning this unique collectible!
