#1. Nympheas by Claude Monet Sold for $54,071,001.
Description: This painting has been requested by Dr Ann Dumas for the exhibition Painting the Modern Garden: From Monet to Matisse to be held at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland and the Royal Academy of Arts, London, scheduled from 10th October 2015 to 11th April 2017.
