    Description by seller: “All these are original and have never been touched up.  They were taken down from the rafter of an old carriage house where they have been hanging until taken into my possession. In essence they were hung up and only saw the light during the day and during use for just that year of time.  Almost all the years have both plates for that year beginning with 1916 continuing through 1993. The same number ((( 822 ))) was used from 1924 through 1944. The 1944 is a card board plate”.
