    Created by Howdy Corporation in St. Louis , Missouri. After his great success with the Howdy Orange Drink Orange, its founder, CL Grigg, decided to try his luck with lemons and limes and was thus spent more than two years testing over 11 different formulas , all to find out a drink that ‘s refreshing enough so that the people of Missouri and the rest of the planet could not resist tested. Thus, in 1929 was born the bubbly beverage CL Grigg.

    Through the years , advertising 7UP mascot used from a cartoon called “Spot” to the slogans “It’s an Up thing” ( going up ) and “Make 7UP yours” ( 7UP yours beam).

    Early advertisements showed 7UP logo with wings saying ” soda -flavored glory , only bottle. Seven natural flavors that make a tasty drink with a flavor that really hits . Due to the enormous success of the product , the company was renamed The Seven -Up Company, and by the end of the 40s , the new drink called 7UP became the world’s third best-selling soft drink.
