For your consideration is this vintage Jet Patrol metal lunch box with original thermos by Aladdin Industries Inc. Nashville, Tenn., U.S.A. copyright 1957.
The lunch box features a U.S. Air Force Pilot and the various aircraft used such as Lockeed Star Fighter, Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, Douglas C 133, Grumman F11F-1 Tiger, U.S.S Forrestal Carrier, Douglas X-3, & Lockheed F-80 – Shooting Star & more.
The lunchbox is metal with a red hard plastic handle. Inside are “Safety First” instructions and graphics in black by the National Safety Council. Also the Aladdin Industries , Inc. and their famous logo of Aladdin’s Lamp. The inside had a metal piece to hold the thermos. There are raised Aladdin Industries Nashville Tenn USA letters on the side in the back. The thermos is metal with more great jet graphics. It has a red plastic top, the original hard rubber threaded stopper, and mercury insulated glass. The top part of the thermos is aluminum. The rubber stopper and bottom of the thermos have the Aladdin marks.
