Worlds Most Expensive Guitar Worth $2.8 Million

A Fender Stratocaster Guitar broke the record in 2006 when it sold for $2.8 million at an auction held in Doha, Qatar.

The guitar is not necessarily the rarest guitar or oldest guitar in existence. However it does have numerous famous individuals autographs which include the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger Ronnie Wood Keith Richards Queens Brian May Eric Clapton Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page Tony Lommi Sting Black Sabath Malcom Angus Young from AC/DCMark Knopfler David Gilmour Ray Davies. The Kinks Whos Pete Towneshend Noel Galagher Oasis Liam Jeff Beck Bryan Adams Paul McCartney and others.

The guitar auction proceeds were used to raise money to support the relief efforts after the Indian Ocean Tsunami took place in Asia.

The winner of the guitar was Her Highness Shiehka Miyyassah Al Thani the heir of the Qatar Throne when she paid $2.8 million making it the worlds most expensive guitar.
