Offered here is a rare bronze Batman statue on marble base from Randy Bowen, 1994. This very impressive piece is numbered as “1/AP” on the bottom back and as “Batman Prototype #1” on the side next to Randy Bowen’s signature. Statue is extremely heavy for its size (25 lbs.), so we assume that it is solid bronze which has been gold plated. 13.5” tall (from bottom of base to top of arm). 9.25” x 6.75” base. Being that this example is an artist’s proof, I am not sure if it originally came with a box and COA, but those pieces are not with this item.
A few very minor spots have had the gold color rubbed off exposing the bronze (see pictures below: middle top back of the cape, right back side of the cape, and a few minor edge spots). Otherwise statue shows no flaws and is in brand new, Mint condition. I don’t want to overstate this item, but it is very, very impressive in person!
