A 1959 RCA Victor CTC-9A “Anniversary” 21 Inch Color Television Set. Model Number 210-CK-857. Serial Number B0677523.
In exceptional operating condition. Set was professionally restored over 5 years ago, and has been running well ever since. The 21CYP22 “Roundie” CRT tests strong, with very good emissions and cut-off on all three guns (see pics). These early side-chassis color sets are good performers, and this one has been properly restored. The chassis is clean, with no corrosion present. All tubes, caps, electrolytics, etc were tested and replaced where necessary.
Cabinet cosmetics are good, considering it’s age, with just the typical wear on the top right front corner near the channel selector, plus a few beauty marks. The late-50’s style blonde cabinet presents well (see pics). The Set is complete, and includes the back cover.
Due to it’s size (approx. 28″ Wide x 23″ Deep x 36″ Tall) and weight (well over 100 lbs) the Seller is offering Local Pick Up, or will place on a shipping pallet cocooned in multiple layers of bubble wrap and drop off to any freight depot within a 50 mile radius for an additional $50. The Buyer is responsible for making shipping arrangements and freight charges. International Buyers are welcome to bid, and, again are responsible for freight charges, the $50 pallet and wrapping fee, and making delivery arrangements. The Seller, as an added courtesy, will also deliver the television to the Kutztown, PA Radio Swap Meet on September 21-22, 2012 for $50.
