I will offer the best in collecting . Watch every week for great featured items . What you are buying is an incredible mid 1930s zenith model 835 classic ” chrome front ” radio . Fresh to the market is this great original radio , the most desired zenith table model radio !!! . It has been years since a zenith 835 original example has been offered for sale . A google search will help with specs on this radio . There are over a hundred walton radios for everyone of these you will see for sale . Short of inheriting one , it is almost impossible to buy one of these radios in this condition !!! . This beautiful and magnificent radio is one of the favorites of both collectors and the general public . This massive radio is about 22 inches tall 17 inches wide and 12 inches deep , and weighs about 40 pounds !!! The facade of this radio is beautiful with a large ornate chrome facade . A solid and well built radio !!! . The radio retains all original knobs , even the tube shields and original speaker grille cloth ( the only thing i saw was the speaker grille cloth is a little loose ) . As far as i can see this radio is original with no surprises . The radios cabinet and electronics are unrestored . The radio still plays very well with loud volume and tunes in many stations . If you plan on using this radio an update of its vintage tube electronics is needed for safe playing . A google search of vintage radio repairs or restorations will yeild many results , and this is a radio worth restoring !!!! .the cabinet is great , solid , and sturdy with next to no wear on the original factory finish , the chrome is average with just slight wear . Overall a beautiful radio with lots of eye appeal . So dont let this incredible radio slip by , they do not come up for sale often.
