Model 522-A. 150bhp, 414 cu. in. V12 engine, two-barrel carburetor, three-speed manual transmission, solid front axle with leaf springs, full-floating rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 136″

In 1933, a V12 engine of 382 cubic inches was introduced to the KA, creating a more affordable alternative to the KB. The KA V12, while based upon the KB’s design, was both simpler and less expensive to produce. Expanded in 1934 to 414 cubic inches, the new design became the sole Lincoln power plant until 1936, and it is considered by marque experts to be the company’s finest V12 engine ever. Today, the V12 Lincolns of 1932-1934 remain highly prized for their style, luxury, quality, performance, and sheer rarity.

The handsome Lincoln KA four door town sedan offered here is one of only 450 examples of Model 524 originally produced in 1934. Showing just over 62,000 actual miles, the car was painted a few years back and remains very attractive today. The green exterior finish is accented by apple green pinstriping, as well as tasteful brightwork, dual side-mounted spare tires with hard covers, and green painted wire wheels with chrome-plated hubcaps and wide whitewall tires. Other features include a driver’s sideview mirror, greyhound hood ornament and an integral trunk with an additional trunk rack. The interior displays unique diamond-pattern wood grain dash and window trim, a dark wood grain dash panel and a handsome instrument cluster, as well as attractive gray mohair cloth upholstery and tan carpeting. Meanwhile, the engine bay reveals the original V12 engine, which is attractive and period correct in its presentation. This car being a survivor does have flaws such as a cracked passenger rear window and missing trunk lock. Over all the car is very complete and is ready for touring.

A truly rare automobile, this grand 1934 Lincoln Model KA closed couple sedan is recognized as a CCCA Full Classic. Very attractive and well preserved, it remains a wonderful example of Lincoln’s prewar prominence.
