Up for aconsideration is a decent Philco Predicta television from the 1950’s.
Selling it as working condition. However you should have it clooked at if you would like it to last.
Thtelevision set works. Last time it was viewd was a couple of years ago. thepicture wdid get either a little smaller or a little larger after about 30 minutes or so, and then it would stabalize in that mode. Power switch was bypassed by the previous owner so it now has a cord switch.
There is minimla rust some faded paint. The rust areas are on the red case. Some sections look a bit dirty. The antenna is still intact. Brass paint has some pitting. One brass cap is missing. but you should be able to find another one online inexpensively. The back cover is in good shape. Most existing televisions like this have several of these flaws. The screen has a few very light scratches that could come off with polish and one that may not, that is outside the viewing area. This Predicta is in above average condition (for an original un-restored unit), plus it still works.
There are no dents, so you could easily strip and repaint this like a lot of people seem to be doing. Thanks for looking and I will be listing an almost new looking RCA from the same era that works. I also have a 1950’s Zenith console in great shape that lights up and makes noise.
