1956 Cushman Package Kar Coca Cola Vending Scooter

Originally built as a 3 wheel Package Kar by Cushman of Lincoln, Nebraska.

When I found it, the box was gone and it had been used for rabbit hunting. Pretty sad shape. Being a “Coke Head” and having a large collection of Coca-Cola Memorabilia, I decided it would make an excellent vending scooter.

I engineered the Westinghouse Coca-Cola Ice Box to fit the chassis.

It holds 7 cases of 24 8oz. bottles of Ice Cold Coca-Cola.

I have used it on 5 Saturdays at 5 different car events and sold $1700.00 worth of Coca-Cola as a fundraiser for a local charity. People “Love it!” Especially the little kids when you open the bottle on the built in bottle opener.

I rebuilt the 8 horse motor and went through the gears in the 2 speed forward a 1 speed reverse transmission.

It has 3 new Cushman tires and tubes. It also has brakes on all 3 wheels. Top speed is about 40 mph. It even has brass vender bells on it!

It is a HOOT to drive and show!
