I’m selling my 1956 Wurlitzer 2000 Centennial Jukebox that has been residing in my living room for more than 25 years. It looks, sounds and plays great but I’m downsizing and now it is time to find a new home for my prize possession. Although it has never been completely restored, the amplifier has been rebuilt. The mechanism and other mechanical components have been lubed, adjusted and maintained on a regular basis. THE PAGE TURNERS WORK PERFECTLY – no sticking, stalling or stopping. I have a video of the turners working which I will email to you upon request. It holds 100 45rpm records (200 songs). It has a coin mechanism which is presently set on free play. It selects, plays and cancels properly. There are no cracks on the boards. The mechanism elbow boards are original and in excellent shape. The rear foil backdrop is in very good condition but a small piece of the lower right corner is missing. The lettering on the record ring, the paint on the the tone arm and record guide and the 200 side glasses are original and very nice. The glass pilasters are original. The left pilaster has a broken lower inner corner. The pilaster liners are original and in excellent condition. The grill is original and has a few minor dents. The cabinet side veneer is original and has some minor damage. It would benefit from refinishing. The coin door is missing. The original upper cabinet foil is in very good condition. It has it’s original glass dome and upper Wurlitzer valance. The push buttons including the page turner buttons have no cracks or cigarette burns. All selector buttons except for #4 have no cracks or cigarette burns. #4 has a hairline crack. The lettering and numbering on the buttons are slightly faded. The side cabinet locks are original. One of the 12 inch speakers have been replaced. The original chrome has never been replated and has some pitting on the pilasters’ side trim. The keyboard area is very good and will polish up nicely. This is a very nice, mostly original Wurlitzer 2000 Centennial model jukebox. The records are not included.
