This 69 Dart GT is the most solid 69 Dart you will find. This car still wears it’s original paint from the factory and still shines nice. It is not worn through anywhere and there is no sign of any rust! Notice the screws that hold the door latches has no overspray! The car has undercoating and is rock solid underneath. It has spent it’s life in Arkansas until 2007 when I bought it. The original owners wife’s son sold it to me and this is only the second time in 43 years it has been for sale. The condition is awesome, the vent windows have 0 pits! the wheel cover centers have 0 pits as the taillight bezels, door handles and remote mirror is excellent also. Anybody that has owned a 43 year old Mopar knows this is rare to see. The original owner kept a book of records with miles and dates from new until 1999 when he passed. His wife rubbed the garage and scratched the passengerside, then quit driving it. There is some scratches and small dings but I felt it is only original once and have decided not to repaint the car. The vinyl top is also excellent for it’s age, with only a few bubbles starting by the rear window. The car will come with the original 14″x5.5″ wheels and wheel covers. The bumpers still wear the original chrome and shine nice.
The interior also has everything it left the factory with. No holes or rips in the headliner, door panels, armrests, carpet, rear seat or passenger seat. There is only one small rip in the drivers bottom. (see pic). All the original hinge covers, seat belt clips and seat adjuster knob are still present. There is no cracks or holes in the sun visors or dash. The console is in excellent shape also. No wires have ever been cut, it is one of the cleanest dashes underneath I have ever seen.
The trunk retains it’s original jack, spare tire, and trunk mat with the correct color and Chrysler part number. There is some splits in it, but original none the less. There is NO holes in the spare tire well!! or anywhere else for that matter. Notice the gas filler tube is not sprayed and is original.
The engine is a 273 2bbl that runs great. The inner fenders are also the best I have seen, the windsheild squirters are original and retain the correct finish. There is air cond. and power steering.
I put on a new water pump, master cyl, steering wheel and kept the ones I took off. They are included if you want to rebuild them for the correct date. I added dual exhaust with correct tips, a new washer bottle under the hood, a new gas tank and sending unit. The original owner added electronic ign.
Drive this car anywhere. Everything works as it should! There is also a complete build sheet with the car. The original ts SEALED BEAM headlights are included, but one only works on high beam so I replaced it, but it is included.
