1971 “Holly Hobbie” Extremely Rare & vintage “England Issued” lunchbox & Thermos in Mint condition & issued by Aladdin Industries Hartlepool England. Only issued in England this is one of the few lunchboxes issued by Aladdin that did not have a American Metal version & this particular lunchbox differs in any graphics that appear on the more common metal Holly Hobbie USA boxes & is unique to this UK issued lunchbox only !!!. Issued in plastic only in the U.K back in 1970 & only for the much smaller U.K. market with much less production #’s so few of these are known to have survived let alone with correct matching thermos !!! Very Very rare & i HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER COMPLETE SET with correct matching thermos… Note the thermos is missing the liner which can be found. Just the nicest example i’ve ever seen of this lunchbox & complete with matching thermos this 42 yr old set will display very nicely. These England lunchboxes are soooo much rarer than the USA issued boxes as they had about a 10th of the production & being made of plastic with paper graphics sooo few survived as they were thrown out as if gotten wet they peeled or the box cracked very easily. This set is surely the nicest example you’ll ever seen of this desired lunchbox & a 70’s Classic & A MUST for Holly Hobbie or Lunchbox collectors that want rare !!!! . No chips or cracks to the box or rips or tears to the graphics this set appears never to have been used.
