Originally this antique Zinc American Indian Head would have been mounted to the inside of a Carnival Carousel. Mounted on a 18” wide by 33” tall framed wood plaque, this 13” wide by 22” tall Cast Zinc American Indian is surrounded by 11 light bulb sockets. I was told this Folk Art Sculpture originally was mounted on the inside of a Herschel Spellman Carousel. The quality is certainly equal to other Spellman Carousel items I have found on the internet, but I have not been able to find this particular Zinc Sculpture. Over the years, this Indian was painted several times like most carnival art. There are no damages or any repairs. …This antique Circa 1910 Carousel Sculpture has to be as rare or even rarer then a carousel horse.
