This is a sterling silver vintage boy Scout honor medal, in the original box. The wording inside the box says “Honor Medal Awarded by the boy Scouts of America”. The red coloration on the top of “be Prepared” is artifact – there is no red there, as can be seen in the other photos. The wording on the medal says Honor boy scouts of america. On the back, a tiny triangle of words says sterling, [plus what looks like Bigges & Clus.
