you are bidding on an all original 1939-40 australian mickey mouse astor radio that is in excellent condition with only minor wear. Only a few (very minor) surface scratches that would polish out. The front dial is excellent and the rear chassis decal is pretty good with only a couple of rubs. The two screw holes on the rear of the radio have very minor inner chips that do not show but i thought i should mention it. Radio measures 6″ high by 9″ wide and 5″ deep and is complete with original knobs, felts, and cord with 3-prong australian plug ( i have no idea if it works but was told it did when purchased). This is the original 4 bottom screw case, not a three screw with a mickey chassis. All original and beautiful. Bright, shiny molted bakelite case in fabulous condition. The radio was hard to photograph and shows lots of dust specks and could use a good cleaning. Much better in person.
