The Seller callstu described the item as: “In four thousand listings that I have written in the last nine years, I have never used the words “museum piece,” until now. This piece aptly deserves those words in it’s description. Besides it’s enormous size for a coral carving, the masterful carving, detail, and attention to detail is extraordinary in this sculpture. Please zoom in on all the photos and note the use of textures and patterns, the flowing grace of the curves and folds of fabric and hair, and the expressions, gestures and proportions of faces and bodies”
Definitely a very nice Asian that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
