The solar eclipse was a nationwide sensation. It made such an impression that it became the theme for a number of classic campaign pins, including this one. It’s a rare celluloid that promises William McKinley will totally eclipse William Jennings Bryan in the November election.
The pin back is in excellent condition.

This was found a estate auction in the bottom of a jewelry box, and was checked by a coin and history store to be the realy thing not a repro.
