On September 28, 2012 a Erie 53 Gas Pump Porcelain Oil Sold for $19,500.00 on eBay
The Seller jeffnsteph9603 described the item as: “Erie 53 – Originally A Cities Service Pump. The globe frame is a reproduction and the lenses do not go with it. I have an extra set of new sheet metal custom made for the pump that come with it as well. I also had a set of faces made from the original that also come with it. All of the upper trim pieces, the lens trim and the spears are there and in nice condition. Two of the lower trim pieces are busted, but I have three extra lowers that were made out of cast iron”
Definitely a very nice Gas Pump that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
