    A superb and important Chinese antique vase, a 12,2″ inches tall porcelain vase, decorated with multi enamel strong colors, high detailed art work, scenes of blue grey dragons, alternate lotus flowers, scrolling tendrils, borders, Greek key base border, all beautifully executed in a famille rose palette.!  Vase is signed underneath, with genuine hand written in raised iron red enamel, Imperial mark from the Qing Dynasty 1644 – 1912, written in Zhuan Shue (zhuanshu – archaic seal script), period c. Jiaging Emperor 1760-1820 – Reign 1796 – 1820, Imperial Zhuanshue reign six character mark reads from top to bottom and from right to left…”Great”-“Qing”-“Jia”-“Ging”-“Period”-“Made”.! a continuation of its popularity from the Qianlong period as…Jiaging was the son of the Qianlong Emperor.

    Estate found vase has heavy age wear, old cracks, missing small parts, has old restored – rebuilted, has a serious rim damage with missing part.
