Here is an awesome VINTAGE Herman Miller Coconut Chair that was designed by George Nelson. The Coconut chair was introduced by Herman Miller in 1955. This was a one owner chair and purchased from Herman Miller about 50 years ago. The chair is ALL ORIGINAL HERMAN MILLER. The vinyl is a tan color.
Here is the condition of the chair – The base is in almost mint condition – the chrome plating on the base is awesome, there is no ware showing on the base. The steel frame structure (back of chair) is also in very good condition, no missing finish on the steel. The vinyl is still all glued to the foam and all of the foam is still flexible, there are no hard spots. Because everything is original this is the way the chair will be sold. What an awesome vintage Herman Miller coconut chair and what a great find! Don’t miss this great piece of art!
