A Marx Wagon Train #4805 playset from 1960. Complete and barley even touched. Box is a soldid C8.5 or better, one or two small dings in the cover and uniform light darkening to the white color. Tight corners and staples that were obviously carefully removed by an adult collector. Extremly nice divider and instruction sheet.Has all it’s original bags.( 22 are shown in the photos plus there are three more white with Accessories marked on them that didn’t make the photos)
Contents include 4 complete and perfect wagons, one tan, blue, brown and gray- none appear to have ever been assembled. 4 tops again all perfect 2 gray, 1 tan and 1 light blue. Four matching brown swirled hard plastic rock formations, 2 trees, 2cacti,and two teppes one tan and one gray. RED Indian 35piece acc’s sprue with only one piece detached and a flat matte silver (kind of unique color) 35 piece cowboy sprue again with only one piece detached.The set has three sets of the three Indian acc’s- (stack of spears, skin on rack and travois) in red brown. Also has the large hard plastic firing bow with three blount headed arrows in red- even has original rubber band.
Animals include 3 long horn steers, 6 pigs, 6 sheep, 3 goats, a dead horse, 4 cavalry horses, 2 western horses, 2 Indian ponies, 6 wagon horses 2 each in cream, brown + light gray plus two dif oxen that pull one of the wagons.
Figures are Seth Adams and Flint McCullough plus 4 wagon drivers with whips in cream color. A set of 10 54mm cowboys mixed colors of gray and red brown, two sets of 54mm frontiersmen, 10 in light blue and 10 in tan and two sets of Indians. A set of yellow Indiansd that includes the 4 revised poses and a set in red brown without the revised poses– ALL ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION – missing feathers or paerted bow strings.
