White Cotton Fedora Signed by Michael Jackson This white felt fedora is a beautiful and rare piece of memorabilia which was hand signed by the late King Of Pop Michael Jackson on 7th March 2009 outside The Lanesborough Hotel, London, England, UK. This was during his visit on which he announced his ill-fated “This Is It” concerts. He was on his way to see the musical “Oliver!” at the Drury Lane Theatre in London’s West End, which was starring Rowan Atkinson (of “Mr Bean” and “Johnny English” fame) as “Fagin”. This is an excellent example of his autograph and the hat is in FANTASTIC (almost mint) condition; the hat shows no signs of wear. The hat was signed with a Blue sharpie marker pen. A couple of pictures of Michael Jackson were taken as he was approaching me in the crowd holding the pen, and surrounded by his security staff. Digital copies of these can be made available to the winner. The hat was obtained many years before at a Michael Jackson concert by a private collector. **It is unclear whether Michael Jackson ever wore the hat so we are assuming not just in case** The inside band bares the name MICHAEL JACKSON in goldlettering. The autograph reads “Thank you! Love Michael Jackson” with his signature star burst beneath the “n” in Jackson. The signature is present on the underside of the hat’s brim. The fedora is one of Michael’s most iconic accessories, second only to his trademark crystal glove. This is a must for any real Michael Jackson fan and would look perfect in a glass cabinet or dedicated display case.

Authenticated The item comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from a UK based collector and authenticator of rare rock music memorabilia and autographs. The item was submitted for authentication and was approved based on the letter’s sizing, slant, angle, pitch, shape, formation and spacing between the letters. The certificate is printed on water-marked card, has a tamper-proof holographic label with a unique serial number, and it’s details are held on an autograph database.
