This listing is for a very desirable, hard to find, and seldom offered 18k gold Cartier lighter watch.  This is of course guaranteed to be authentic in every way.

The lighter measures 2 inches or 50 cm tall.  It consists of an enameled square watch inset into the gold body of the lighter.  The watch has roman numerals set in a square and surrounded by black enamel.  The square watch is signed “CARTIER”.  The watch movement is signed on the back by “European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., 720011, Three 3 Adjusts, Sixteen 16 Jewels”.  The lighter body is marked with the French Eagle Standards stamp for 18k gold.  The metal has also been tested and is all 18k gold.  There is also a diamond hallmark next to the eagle hallmark but this is not readable, please see photos.   The back of the lighter has an Art Deco round with a small monogram inside the circle.  The reservoir screw is marked with the number 612.  Also marked 612 is the flip top for the lighter and the lighter itself.  The bottom of the lighter is marked with the numbers 03603.

The lighter itself along with the watch works.  The clock keeps good time.  Everything is original.  The total weight of the lighter-watch is 76.9 grams or 4.96 pennyweights.  It is in very good condition throughout.   Again, a rare opportunity to purchase a very rare item.  As a matter of note.  The last time an almost identical Cartier clock-lighter like this sold was at Christies sale Sale 1316 lot 246 May 18th 2004 at their auction in Switzerland.  At that time it bought just over $12000.
