Rare Genuine Indian Wars Army Numbered Military Medal

• Title: RARE Genuine Indian Wars Army Numbered Military Medal
• Description: It is marked #193 on the edge and depicts a Native American riding a horse on one side and an eagle with outstretched wings on the reverse. We bought this from a St Petersburg, Florida estate. We understand it is quite rare. Please see corresponding Scigert medal that belonged to the same family… We have been researching information and we guarantee authenticity. It is in good condition with no major dents or gouges. A few tiny dings on the edges that are hard to see… Also the red ribbon attaching the medal to the bar pin has frayed apart with age. Our research found that this was given to Major William J Turner in 1909. Family history claims he was associated with Buffalo Bill and Custer although we cannot confirm this. He died about 90 years ago here in Florida and one his living relatives sold us this medal.
