    The price realized is a record high price for this really large T-Rex tooth. The tooth measures just over 5 inches tall from top to bottom.

    The tooth was described as being in really great condition, especially for being preserved under the ground for all these years. The tooth was originally discovered by a farmer from Garfield County, Montana in the United States in 2011. He discovered the tooth while plowing a field. The unknown farmer immediately consigned the tooth to be sold at auction.

    The tooth is believed to about 65 to 70 million years old as that’s how old these dinosaurs are believed to have once been here on earth. The tooth weighs about 338 grams and is the largest tooth if compared to other tooth’s that are currently in museums.

    The tooth did have some professional restoration done to it by the museum to repair a crack on the tooth. Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaurs were one of the largest dinosaurs to roam the earth millions of years ago. They stood larger than 40 feet tall and were very strong and powerful carnivores.

    Today, they are one of the most famous if not the most famous dinosaurs. In return, anytime a T-Rex tooth or artifact comes into the market, they tend to bring strong bidding from collectors all over the world. These collectors are infatuated with the remains of these very old and large creatures that once roamed the earth.
