This auction features an incredible rare vintage wwii m1 garand m82 telescope sniper rifle scope! This amazing vintage wwii sniper rifle scope is in wonderful condition for its age and considering its extreme work environment with crystal clear optics! (please see photos) the optics are some of the clearest i’ve seen on a rifle scope…very nice, especially for a scope of this age! (please see photos) there are some light scuffs, scratches to exterior including one minor ding near smaller eyepiece but it in no way detracts from the overall quality and appearance of this fine wwii sniper scope! This awesome vintage wwii rifle scope measures approximately 10 3/4 ” inches in length by approximately 1 1/8 ” inches at the larger end by approximately 3/4 of an inch at the smaller viewer and is marked ” telescope m82 serial no. 41992 stock no. F001-0084688 ” on the barrel and ” 7674029 ” near the smaller end of the scope. Furthermore, it is marked ” 7575180 ” and ” 7575180 ” on the two knobs and ” 7634671 ” on the metal portion below the knobs with the larger end of the scope marked ” 7634670 ” (please see photos) this rare vintage original world war ii rifle scope was purchased at an estate sale of an elderly gentleman who had an incredible collection of rare antique vintage wwi wwii military items and this was one of the finest pieces from the estate.
