On August 25, 2012 a Thomas Edison Mimeograph Typewriter Sold for $10,100.00 on eBay
The Seller antiquesinpa described the item as, “This piece is unlike any that I have ever seen before with a rotating base, and a lever for marking the paper. This great typewriter may be one of the first ever built. I have never seen one of these before, so I am not a expert on this but I have taken a bunch of photos, and will allways answer any questions. This piece looks to be in very good condition with no obvious damage, I do see that there is a nut missing on the bar which holds the levers on, but that looks like a easy fix. This piece measures about 7 1/2″ tall by 14″ wide. A very beautiful addition to any home or colleciton”
Definitely a very nice Typewriters that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
