Offered here is an outstanding and extremely rare Victor phonograph with perhaps the rarest issued horn; a brass belled horn with a translucent, wood grain, candy apple red neck! This machine as well as horn is 100% original, 100% original finishes, and 100% Victor, having nothing being after market. There are no more than perhaps 3 or 4 of these horns WORLD WIDE! As far as the machine goes, it plays great with a very quiet and smooth running double spring motor. The pen striping on the back bracket is bright and 99% complete. The turntable felt is original. Nickel plating is original and excellent. This is probably the only large brass bell horn issued by Victor Talking Machine Co. that is absent the decal on the horn. This machine would date around 1904/05 and uses a slotted crank rather than a screw-on. I would be willing to bet that no one viewing this listing has ever had one or even seen one. I know of only one other. I’m including a folder full of original clean vintage 78 RPM disc records and a pack of needles. This is a premium collector’s item if I ever offered one.
