I am a long time friend of “rare patchman”, so bid with confidence as you would with him. I am not satisfied unless you, the buyer is satisfied. This item is guaranteed to be as described. Up for auction is a ww2 101st a/b (plus much more) patch blanket. This ww2 army patch blanket measures appoximately 60″ x 87″. The entire perimeter (as seen in photos) is bordered by (76) ww2 101st airborne patches. Each corner of the blanket has an airborne tab above the patch. Although there are no white tongues, virtually every version or type of this patch is represented. Certain versions represented are undoubtedly greenbacks, but this cannot be verified as patches are sewn to blanket. There is only one open space on the perimeter where this patch is vacant. As can be seen in photos, there are many interesting patches including: several ghost divisions, berlin district, other divisions and corps examples. Some of these patches were applied post-ww2, such as air force chevrons and us army breast patches. There are also a couple of patches, although period patches, that were applied at a later date because the stitching
