To my bidders: For years I have done business on eBay using the name: motelbuyer. Since most of the items I will be selling from this point on are being purchased by my drivers and from the estates we service as a company all future items will be sold through our company eBay account: gpstorageco*. To check feedback please check the eBay name: motelbuyer. This WWII Polish Officers Uniform was purchased locally (tri-county area) from the Veterans daughter. It is an original WWII Polish Officers Uniform made in the UK.

This WWII Polish 1st Armored Division Officers Uniform is the real deal and shows light/average wear commensurate with its age (see photos). It is a tailor made quality example and is named to the inside (see label photos). I don’t collect Polish items and will do my best to describe it without knowing what most of the ribbons or decorations are representative of. The exterior is very clean overall with no rips, tears or losses anywhere to the body (see last photo). Upper left chest has WWII period made/sewn ribbons with one medal suspended below the center ribbon (see photos). Below the medal is a screwback regimental badge of the 1st Polish Anti-Tank Regiment (see photos). The wing nut to the badge reverse is marked Spink & Son – London (see photos). To the upper left arm is a period made/sewn 1st Armored Division patch with Poland tab above (see photos). The shoulder strap to the left side has a black background color and three star rank devices (see photos). The right side shoulder strap has the same rank devices but is the same material as the tunic and there is a Poland tab to the upper right arm (see photos). The multi-piece insignia to the lapels is representative of the regiment’s lance pennon (see photos). All ten buttons are present and are maker marked “Perfectionne” to the reverse.

Original interior lining is very clean, shows light wear and has no problems (see photos). Tailors label near the collar is present and shows manufacture by C.Y. Myles, Military Tailors, Arbroath, N.B. (see photos). The small area below has the owners name (Lt. Bober) and the date (January 1941) penned in (see photos). There is one interior pocket to the left interior (see photos). The tunic is complete with a matching detachable belt and original matching appropriately sized pants (see photos). The mannequin I use for display is a size 34 and this tunic fits it almost perfectly. No headgear or hat of any sort was purchased with the uniform.

While Bober is a firly common Polish name I believe the Veterans full name might be Antoni Leopold Bober. He was born June 13, 1912 in Buchaly, Poland and you can see a photo of him in uniform at the website: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/10846744

Measurements for this four pocket tunic are: shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back – 16.5 inches, shoulder seam to the end of the cuff material – 24.5 inches, base seam of collar to bottom of waistband material – 29 inches. Armpit to armpit across the front – 19 inches.

This is a real WWII made Polish Armored Officers uniform with period made/sewn insignia. It would be a great addition to an advanced WWII uniform collection . Absolutely guaranteed as described. First Polish uniform I have ever had come in.
