Description by seller: “In 1914, Charlie Chaplin left Keystone Studios, where he had made his mark in comedy shorts and took an offer from Essanay Studios. He would make 14 shorts in 1915 for Essanay and during that year the comic’s films would expand from the broad slapstick of the Sennett years to a much more disciplined style with better story and character development.
