Two of the screen’s leading stars, Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert, were cast in this story about a spoiled heiress, tired of her father’s control, who rebels and runs away from both her father and her new husband. Gable stars as a hungry reporter, looking for a great story, who stumbles across the runaway heiress and accompanies her on her “road-trip” back to New York.
