Description by seller: “Insert (14″ X 36″).  Warner Brothers released this wartime tale in hopes it would appeal to their audiences who were facing hardships, including rationing of food and gas and the loss of loved ones in foreign lands. The studio’s expectation was to bring a modest profit similar to hundreds of films turned out year after year. A script had been cobbled together by several writers, but was incomplete when production began”.
