Description by seller: “After a long, ten year wait, Superman finally leapt from comic books to screens in this amazing Columbia serial. The serial was originally planned for production by Republic Pictures in 1940, but due to problems acquiring rights from DC Comics, the project was dropped. However, Republic kept the script, made a few changes, and produced “The Adventures of Captain Marvel.””.
