Description by seller: “Signed Preliminary Artwork from Kagemusha (10.75″ X 14″). In 1936, at the age of twenty-six, a disheartened artist named Akira Kurosawa burned his entire portfolio, intent on abandoning his love of painting forever. Western cinematic history embraced this newcomer in 1950”.
