The components, transformers and sockets are original brand Western Electric. Capacitors (Some have been replaced by others who are not the original). I have checked all transformers provide continuity in Multitester”.

This is 2-track version of it’s big brother, also the legend, “STUDER J37”  (Multi-track recorder, used in Abbey Road Studio for beatles’ immortal masterwork, “Sgt, Pepper”), and has exactly the same deck design and electronics as “J37” and so just called “KING of 2 tracks studio Reel to Reel tape machine”. Considered to be one of the best tube reel to reels ever made”.
