This is truly a one of a kind piece that is not even listed in the book. The bottom portion is a solid yellow green but there are some wisp of aqua in the dome which makes this piece one of a kind”.

Description by seller: “Here is a unusual and quite possibly rare HEMINGRAY Patent May 2nd, 1893 mystery piece insulator that has been suggested to be a possible Hemingray Battery rest insulator or even a salesman sample piece to show off drip points. Item measures approx. 1-3/4″ high and is 6″ in diameter wide and weighs approx. 3-lbs, both the top and bottom surfaces have what appear to be ground surface rings along the outside edge, also the insulator has a thread less core that measures approx. 1″ x 1/2″ deep”.
