Description by seller: “Oak Edison Opera Mod. A with a low serial number #793.  Original finish on lid, case and oak horn.  All match in color.  The horn is an original Edison oak cygnet horn.  It is in very nice condition as you can see in the pictures.   Shadow left where the clip for the hanger once was”.

Description by seller: “Very rare US made Berliner Gramophone. This machine runs and plays fine. Sound quality is very good in my opinion for a phonograph that is 118 years old. The patent dates on the label begin with Nov 8, 1887 and ends with Feb 19 1896.  The reproducer is stamped Feb 19, 1895.  It is all original except for the crank, speed screw and possibly the horn. The horn looks like a repainted original, but could be a very early reproduction”.

Description by seller: “This Edison model E is in great working order, I’m not an expert by any means but appears to have very little ware. Includes large oak and metal scalloped horn as well as a brass “witch hat” horn“.

Description by seller: “Here’s a beautiful, meticulously maintained Edison “suitcase” Home Phonograph with an original 15″ all brass horn.  The phonograph’s serial number is 43xx, dating its manufacture to February or March 1898, quite early in the suitcase Home’s production run.  Like most suitcase Homes manufactured between late 1897 and early 1898, the phonograph has a desirable brass mandrel, brass governor weights and an ID plate mounted on the vertical face of the upper casting“.
