On October 16, 2012 a Forbidden Planet Poster Sold for $15,000.00 on eBay
The Seller addsense described the item as: “Overall condition of the poster is B+. It comes with the original foldings and assembled to one piece. I assume it was used for displaying at the movies as the corners have pinholes. Colours are very well preserved- e.g. compare the reds in the lower text banner etc.. For judging colours, please compare the first picture- it matches the original best. Paper is a little dry, which is usual at this age and thereof crinkled. This could easily be dealt with, if it the poster was to be backed on linen“
Definitely a very nice Poster that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
